Abstract— The modern development of the agricultural business in the world is focused on a system of flexible network management, innovations, information, and intellectual property. Large companies are of great significance in this process; agricultural holdings are very important in Russian agricultural business. Unfortunately, the Russian agribusiness sector is dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises, namely, concurrent enterprises, farms, small businesses in rural areas. They produce and market agricultural products. Therefore, supply chain management in agricultural business requires digitalization and the use of flexible management methods. The purpose of the research is to study agile supply chain management methods in agricultural business. We have considered such flexible methods as a digital platform and a blockchain technology, which contribute to the partnership between small and medium-sized agrifood enterprises by creating a digital network platform for all parties interested in the agricultural product. These methods are more productive compared to the traditional approaches; they provide more efficient interaction between manufacturers, consumers and intermediaries in the flow of goods and services through the supply chain. Unfortunately, agile supply chain management in the agricultural business of Russia has not been widely introduced yet, which makes it difficult to collect analytical information. We believe that this may be explained by the predominance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country, the lack of digital platforms that act as intermediaries in the supply chain to connect crop producers and consumers

The possibility of applying the principles of corporate governance in the practice of small agricultural businesses is considered. The authors believe that cooperative associations of small market participants can transform into corporate associations at a certain stage of development. The scientific novelty is represented by an improved economic mechanism of two-level cooperation of small agricultural enterprises with the financial participation of municipalities, regional and Federal authorities and the formation of their own cooperative Bank. The mechanism recommended by the authors is aimed at motivating small business participants to cooperate by the possibility of subsequent corporatization. The implementation of the cooperation development plan will require temporary exemption of its participants from the tax burden, while the state should practice joint construction of processing, logistics and other necessary facilities in the agricultural sector, with the subsequent transfer of its shares to consumer cooperatives of small businesses

The article presents the results of the effectiveness studies of No-till technology on chernozem in a typical forest-steppe zone of the Volga region. Research has shown that No-till technology provides water, agrophysical and agrochemical properties of soil that are favourable for plant growth while effectively controlling weeds. There is also a tendency to increase the yield and product quality. According to our estimates, direct sowing increases the yield of spring wheat grain by 0.5 kg/ha, the mass fraction of gluten from 13.6% to 15.0%, the mass fraction of protein from 11.0% to 11.6% in comparison with traditional technology
